Using the library • Welcoming incoming students.
In the beginning of this new academic year, the Casa do Conhecimento (House of Knowledge) greets all incoming student and wishes a bright and successful academic path during the following months.
To provide some guidance and help incoming students in their academic tasks, the House of Knowledge shares this short guide about our main 4 information resources essential to study and teaching. The first resource provides access to documents available at the House of Knowledge, while the other ones provide access to documents available in open access (b-on, Repositório da Universidade Lusíada and Revistas da Universidade Lusíada):

- Lusíada Database: online catalog of Lusíada University libraries. Includes all bibliographic references of all books, journals, dissertations, and so on, available for on-site reading;
- Online Knowledge Library (b-on): provides unlimited and permanent access to a full range of scientific journals and eBooks from relevant information providers;
- Lusíada University Repository (RUL): university digital repository that gives access to full text of academic and scientific content from the university teachers, researchers, and students, such as articles, book chapters, presentations, thesis, patents, posters, association exams, reviews, reports, and academic papers.
- Lusíada University Journals: website that provides full text of all academic and scientific journals published by Universiade Lusíada Editora.
Using the library, written by the House of Knowledge team, seeks to raise awareness of their products and services among the academic community.
